Day 167 - Beginning to work again on the porch area. These were pictures taken primarily to show the pipe work that will soon be hidden. Had another truck load of gravel delivered to begin on preparation of blue stone.
Day 167 - The wall on the left was re-done with double sided wall material that originally was going to be used on the perimeter of the hot tub on the right. I took it off the perimeter of the hot tub and cut all the caps to surround the hot tub so we have a flush fit on the right and blend into the wall anywhere it falls on the left when the blue stone is laid out on this walking area.

Day 167 - The double sided wall may go up several more courses and will extend out to the final beam on the left. It will transition into a bar front end between both beams.

Day 167 - An overall view with the new stone around the hot tub.

Day 167 - Conduit on the left is a run for the 12 volt lights that will be installed in the future. Conduit on the right is the wiring for the speakers.
Day 167 - Each speaker will be buried approximately 5-6 inches when completed. Each is screwed onto a larger piece of blue-stone. Someone will have to take a little effort to pick it up and run :) By then, our vicious dogs will surround them!
Day 167 - Gravel starting to be placed as the last prep before stone dust and PA blue stone. May be able to start that in several weeks if the weather gets better.
Day 167 - All cleaned up and washed. It won't be too much longer.
Day 167 - All stone in place under the deck. A step is being placed right after the speaker. It will drop down one step into the pavilion. On the other side of the shed, we'll step up one also.
Day 167 - Closer look at the construction of the step. Since it's one step, no riser required. PA Blue stone will come up to the top of the first course. A step will be placed on the top of these two blocks.
Day 167 - Close up of the new border for the hot tub. The blue stone will be flush with the top of the caps.
Day 167 - I only had one tank full of gas in the saw. I cut all the blocks successfully except for this last one. Ran out of gas so had to call it quits. Snow will delay any more work for several weeks.
Day 167 - Got gravel throughout the front of the shed porch and starting to fill in the remaining walkway.
Day 167 - Had to shovel in wheel barrow from pile on top right of picture to move gravel into porch area.

Day 394 - Getting ready for a heavy rain. I built a dike made out of gravel and wood.
Day 394 - Another view from the garage.
Day 394 - There appears to be a LOT MORE work to do and it's already 2012.
