Phase III

Wall Construction (6 of 7)

Day 1017 - The line shows the approximate amount of dirt that needs removed to build a wall on this side of the driveway. The motivation is to provide a good parking area for the boat. It's amazing how much that boat costs.
Day 1017 - This border was built to provide a pretty garden area above the walls and provide a cobblestone border for the driveway. I originally wanted to put pavers down in the driveway, but most likely will install concrete. The pvc is used to water all the plants in the garden area.

Day 1024 - This entire area will be filled in with the dirt from the new wall area.

Day 1024 - I covered up the earlier electrical power used to drive the low voltage light to illuminate the old tree. I re-routed and placed areas in the garden area that can be fit with lighting in that area in the future.

Day 1024 - Starting to spread the dirt with my rental from Ben's Rental.
Day 1024 - These jobs really get bigger than what you intially estimate. We got a few more pallets of wall material, but it will be done properly when it's complete and worth every penny.
Day 1024 - The bobcat is a hard worker, but this is a LOT more dirt than I ever imaginged.
Day 1024 - Just the beginning of movement of dirt.
Day 1024 - This is where all the dirt is being moved. There are a LOT of rocks in this dirt.
Day 1024 - We'll end up having a big hill going right down to the fence when it's all completed.
Day 1024 - This small area already filled up the other side from the above picture.
Day 1025 - A view from the pool what it looks like. Just beginning another day of digging.
Day 1025 - It's at least another 5" higher than original at this time.
Day 1025 - We're getting awfully closer to the final digout.
Day 1025 - This picture provides a good view of the water pipe buried in the garden area above the pool walls. Another pipe is buried in this area for low voltage lighting also.
Day 1025 - The best thing about a pool and outside shower, it doesn't matter how hot it is. There is always something available to cool you off.
Day 1025 - This will be close to the final grade on the left side of the yard with a little more needed to plant grass.
Day 1025 - Starting to fill in with crush and run in the new driveway section prior to building the wall.
